Accor Shared Services is delighted to announce the promotion of Sumit Gupta to General Manager of Novotel & ibis Deira Creekside Dubai, handling 553 keys, part of the Arenco Accor Cluster. Sumit’s expertise spans over two decades in hotel operations and revenue management.
Sumit is an integral part Novotel Deira Creekside Dubai and ibis Deira creekside Dubai, having served as Hotel Manager since 2021. He successfully led the hotel operations and guided his commercial team to greater heights. During his tenure, he saw a 16% increase in revenue overall, ARI and RGI consistent leadership, and a strengthened market position for both properties.
Sumit began his career as a front-office operations manager and in revenue management for international brands like InterContinental Grand Hyatt and Rotana. He then advanced to senior leadership positions, such as Cluster Director of Revenue Management at Accor Shared Service. Sumit managed a seven-hotel portfolio, driving sustained RGI and online revenue growth. His extensive experience in revenue strategy was instrumental in driving profitable transformations in business mix and increasing brand loyalty at properties.
