Google announced that India will join the U.S.A. and Canada as the first countries to launch its AI-powered Flight Deals search tool in Google Flights this week. Users can access this feature by clicking on the Flight Deals tab or the Google Flights menu at the top-left of the page.
Skift reports that the feature is designed for travelers who are willing to accept a range of dates and destinations in exchange for a bargain price.
Google stated that the tool utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) “to understand what you’re looking for and to identify destinations matching your criteria.” The tool combines this with Google Flights real-time data to display relevant choices for airlines and booking websites.
Google Travel is the first Google Travel portal to be powered by AI. Until now, AI travel features were primarily focused on Google Search and Google Maps.
