The launch of Myra on Monday follows the August 7 beta release by MakeMyTrip (India’s largest travel website).
Both companies bet that artificial intelligence not only will make booking travel easier, but also streamline their operations.
Yatra DIYA: Improved Search and Cost Savings
Yatra’s new assistant is said to go beyond the basic customer service functions like e-tickets and cancellations. The OTA designed the app so that travelers can refine their searches and get more relevant results.
During the company’s earnings conference last week, CEO Dhruv shringi stated that the goal was to reduce the noise.
