After the word spread about the pending $300-million revamp Rooms and suites in the main tower MGM Grand Hotel & Casino In Las Vegas, first-class accommodations have been redesigned and are now available.
The complete transformation, which is scheduled to be finished by next year, pays homage to the disco period without being overtly Studio 54. (Think: crisp, white linens for snuggling under, as opposed to Bianca Jagger’s horse in white). While the Spring Mountains view remains the same, Gensler-designed renovation reimagines Las Vegas’ iconic property, balancing neutral shades with chambray navy and slate, alongside walnut, eclectic flooring, and tailored headboards.

Don’t miss out on the space-themed decor in the MGM Terrace Suite’s foyer when you’re not enjoying the 800-square foot terrace. The overall remodel will add 111 new suites, increasing the total number of MGM Grand’s rooms to 753. This is in addition to the Terrace Suite.
The new suites range from 675 square feet to 2,572 and are designed to combine luxury with comfort. Interiors combine dark ebony, sheer roller shades and plush sectional couches, as well as reimagined designs that provide privacy, multi-use areas and elevated touches such a quartz bathroom bench and illuminated mirrors.

The Skyline Marquee Suite’s 1,500-square foot two-bedroom suite also features a billiards game with a view of The Sphere Las Vegas. The eight-ball is the first to be pocketed. treated to tickets to the Backstreet Boys?
All rooms have upgraded bathrooms with walk in showers. Also included in the minibar units are refrigerators that can be used by guests.

It’s not a good idea to confine yourself to the rooms. There is plenty of space on the couches to relax and enjoy each new accommodation. The renovation is only the beginning of the new amenities at the legendary Sin City casino resort.
The MGM Grand’s renovation will be accompanied by other new experiences. These include Netflix Bites a new dining concept that is inspired by popular Netflix shows and Palm Tree Beach Club from DJ Kygo’s Palm Tree Crew, a tropical, day club.
The bookings for newly renovated rooms will be officially opened on July 30. The main tower will be remodeled in phases through the end year.
