Olive, the hospitality arm of Indian real estate group Embassy, has launched a fully remote-operated, AI-native hotel brand called ‘Open Hotels.’ The company claims to be the first hotel chain managed exclusively through remote operations.
According to Olive Hospitality CEO Kahraman Yigit the idea is simple: hotels that are human-led and tech-powered.
This vision revolves around the elimination of the front desk as we know it, or at the very least of the people who work behind it. Open Hotels instead offers a self service check-in powered by AI and virtual receptionists.”Say goodbye to queues! “Our AI-powered virtual receptions will get you to your room within minutes,” says the website.
Self-service touchscreen kiosks allow guests to check in, pay, and receive their digital keys.
