Blacklane’s CEO and co-founder Jens Wohltorf stated that he was “excited about the next ambitious phase of our new Platinum Class coming to life very soon around the world.”
Blacklane will offer a new Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II vehicle with a two-tone exterior in black and white. Each ride includes a professional chauffeur who has been specially trained. The cars are known as “appropriate levels of opulence and isolation from reality, regal bearing and built-in exclusiveness.” according to Car and DriverThe vehicle is estimated to cost more than $422,000
The cars are also adorned with fine leather, metal and wood accents, spacious backseats and massaging rear seats.
The new Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II car will be made available for booking in Dubai. It can be used for services such as airport transfers or “immediate hailing” from selected locations.
Blacklane offers “First Class” services in the United States. This includes the Mercedes S-Class as well as BMW 7 Series and Audi A8. Blacklane’s chauffeur service offers a “Business Class” that includes the Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5 Series as well as the Tesla Model S and Model X.
Blacklane also said that it trains its drivers to be experts in safety and customer service. The company also has partnered with various travel providers to provide concierge and driver services for international clients.
Blacklane is back in 2018 selected Official chauffeur service of Emirates’ first and business class passengers. Customers traveling to New York can use this service. John F. Kennedy International Airport Emirates offers a complimentary car from JFK to any location within 50 miles. This allows passengers to avoid the long lines of taxis and the rush to get an Uber or Lyft.
Blacklane began in Germany in 2011. It now has hubs in the United States, United Kingdom, Spain and Singapore. In the U.S. the company has drivers located in dozens cities including New York, Chicago Atlanta, Los Angeles Philadelphia Dallas Washington D.C.
