Yatra, a leading Indian online travel agency, is planning to increase its corporate travel segment. Dhruv Shrini, Whole Time’s Director and CEO, said that the company will focus on repeat business from corporate clients rather than on price-driven leisure traffic.
Yatra’s B2B division accounted for a larger share of gross bookings in the quarter ending June 30. Shringi reported that approximately 67% of gross sales came from B2B. He said the percentage could increase to 70% at the end of the financial year.
Yatra wants to integrate its platform into the daily routines of corporate clients. Shringi calls this “switching costs,” meaning that a company will have to make extra efforts in order to leave the platform once it is integrated.
