Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is falling short of its 2025 climate goals, with emissions rising for the third consecutive year and prompting a reassessment of its targets. The company aimed to reduce indirect and direct emissions by 15 percent and power its offices and properties with 100 percent renewable energy. But progress has stalled. Only 64% of North American offices are powered with renewable energy. The latest sustainability report also does not account for Scope 3 emissions. This leaves a significant part of Wyndham’s climate footprint unaccounted.
