    What US airports offer Touchless ID lanes for passengers?

    Touchless ID will soon be available at 40 US airports. TSA’s program expansion, announced earlier this summer, is about half-complete.

    The security agency announced in January that it would expand facial recognition technology beyond its initial 15 launch locations to 65 US airports. TSA has so far added Touchless ID to 25 more airports in this year. This includes major hubs, such as Honolulu and Charlotte, North Carolina.

    The agency is in the process to add the technology to another 25 airports. TSA spokesperson: “We plan to have 65 locations running TSA PreCheck TouchlessID by spring, before the busy summer travel period.” Condé Nast Traveler.
