    The Loren Lady Bird Lake – What it’s like to stay?

If you can manage to drag yourself away from the hotel, however, you are in a great location to enjoy some outdoor adventures and good Austin dining. On warmer days, you can see swimmers, paddleboarders and rowers at Lady Bird Lake. After crossing the pedestrian walkway in front, you will be in downtown Austin. Butler Park is located next to the hotel and is a favorite spot for families, runners, golfers and dog walkers. Barton Springs in Zilker Park is only one mile away.     The Rooms

    Each of the 108 guestrooms or suites at the hotel features a King-size bed. The rooms have an elegant simplicity. Wormull said on our tour that “the rooms aren’t over-complicated.” Every room, from the first floor, the 427-square foot City View King to the top level, the Loren Two Bedroom Suite with Balcony, has electric blinds on the windows. This allows guests to enjoy the central feature of this hotel, which is the views. Each bathroom is uniform in design, featuring large soaking bathtubs and covered with natural stone.

As a self-proclaimed lover of spas, I was impressed by the prenatal facial and massage. My practitioners spent extra time addressing my needs and explaining any idiosyncrasies that they observed.

    The express facial, despite its name was far from a cursory treatment. It included a head and arm massage as well as putting on a mask. She even cleaned my ear and applied SPF to my eyelids.
