Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky told the company’s quarterly earnings call on Wednesday that they are still “feeling out”, the possibility of collaborating with AI chatbots, such as ChatGPT. Chesky called ChatGPT “an incredible compelling product.”
Airbnb could generate leads by integrating with AI Chatbots. Chesky stated that “we’re definitely open to” this.
Airbnb has yet to decide whether it will sell stays, Services, or experiences through AI assistants. Booking.com has made partnerships with OpenAI as well as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft, and they see generative AI bots in this new channel.
