UK: Hotel and leisure club company Village Hotel Club (Village), which is committed to its growth plans, has added three new members to its management team.
Paul Roberts will take on the newly created role of chief operating officer. He was previously chief financial officers. Matthew Ward was appointed chief financial officer (CFO), and Jon Davis, chief technology officer.
Roberts’ role as COO will include building up the company vision, its strategic framework, and systems for efficiency, sustainability, and effectiveness. He will ensure alignment between commercial, operational, and guest experience functions.
Ward’s duties as CFO include overseeing the finances and working closely with the senior leadership team of the company to help in the growth strategy.
Davis will lead Village’s technological plans as CTO. This includes implementing both internal and external systems that enhance the guest’s experience.

The leadership expansion comes as the company prepares a £82 million refurbishment programme to upgrade existing assets in the first phase of investment.
