    Venice’s 500 year-old Secret Garden is Open to the Public For the First Time

    The historic Convent Garden of the Redeemer, located in Venice, Italy has been officially opened to the general public. The Venice Gardens Foundation has recently renovated the garden over a period of several years. Tickets are required to enter the garden, so visitors should plan their visit well in advance.

    The garden is now open to the public on Thursdays and Fridays. Hours of operation vary according to the season. From June 1 until September 20 there are extended hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Winter hours are 10 am to 4:30 pm between November 1 and March 31.
