Valor Hospitality Partners is a leader in the full-service hotel industry and announced today that it has signed three new contracts for hotel management in Namibia. The announcement follows a similar one made earlier this week about two new properties added to the portfolio in West Africa. These were signed at the Future Hospitality Summit in Cape Town.
The three deals are all with IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hospitality companies, to manage three new-build properties in Namibia, namely the Vignette Collection Dunes Resort Swakopmund making its debut in the country, Holiday Inn Walvis Bay, and voco Windhoek CBD.
The opening of a Vignette property in Namibia is testament to Namibia’s growing popularity as a destination for discerning travelers.
The capital costs for developing and establishing the three properties in Southern African are a staggering R1.3 billion.
These agreements not only strengthen Valor’s relationship with IHG, but also increase their footprint on the continent. They are a testament to the increasing preference for hospitality management services that are fully integrated.
Valor’s global expertise will allow them to deliver a top-notch service.
These agreements show that the hospitality industry on the continent is confident and appreciates the value of fully integrated management services. These partnerships are all about value, and how this value can benefit the entire industry for all stakeholders. We’re proud and delighted to expand and diversify even more our regional presence”. Michael Pownall is the Co-Founder of Valor Hospitality Partners and its Managing Partner.
