- United Airlines has announced its biggest summer schedule to date.
- The airline is adding 17 new international routes across four continents including new routes to Europe Africa South America and Asia.
- The launch of many new routes is scheduled to proceed as originally planned.
New flight options are available just in time for the summer.
United Airlines It has announced it will start 17 new routes with its biggest summer schedule ever. 16 new routes are scheduled to begin in mid-July.
Seven of United’s routes are entirely new.
- United Airlines became the sole airline offering flights between Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport, Guam (GUM), and Taipei Taoyuan International Airport.
- United is the sole airline offering direct flights from Denver International Airport to Leonardo da Vinci International Airport at Rome (FCO).
- Also, on May 1, the route connecting Los Angeles International Airport to Beijing Capital International Airport (PAK), began.
On May 22, United will begin flights from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Juan Santamaría International Airport in San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO), giving all of United’s hubs direct flights to San Jose.
Additional routes launching May 22 include: San Francisco (SFO) to Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, Panama (PTY); Washington D.C.’s Dulles International Airport (IAD) to Venice Marco Polo Airport in Venice (VCE), and Dulles (IAD) to Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE) in Nice, France.
United’s 10 New international destinations Newark Liberty International Airport, EWR, will be able to offer more European destinations for U.S. travelers this summer. United Airlines began flights to Faro International Airport, in Faro in Portugal, on 16 May. This is United’s fifth Portuguese destination. Newark Airport (FNC), on the island named Madeira, will be served by United Airlines beginning June 7.
On May 21, the carrier will begin service between Newark and Sicily’s Palermo Airport.
United Airlines will begin flights to Bilbao (BIO) at the end of May, making them the only U.S. carrier that flies to Bilbao.
United will be the only airline to fly from the U.S. directly to Nuuk in Greenland.
United has already started its new flights to and from the following airports: George Bush Intercontinental Airport Houston (IAH) – Puerto Escondido International Airport Mexico (PXM), Narita International Airport Tokyo, (NRT), Chinggis Khaan International Airport Ulaanbaatar (UBN), Denver International Airport (DEN), Regina International Airport Canada YQR on 15th May.
United Airlines is launching flights between Washington Dulles Airport in Washington (IAD), and Blaise Diagne International Airport at Dakar Senegal on May 23, and Tokyo Airport (NRT) with Taiwain’s Kaohsiung International Airport. This will be the first U.S. airline that services this city.
