The discussions of the week emphasized a shared vision – a tourism driven by Africans and powered by innovations, rooted in African culture. The delegates stressed that Artificial Intelligence and technology must be used to benefit people, by facilitating travel and enhancing ethical standards.
UN Tourism held an event on the sidelines of the CAF 68th meeting. Workshop on AI and Innovation Local officials will be able to learn about Tourism and Creative Industries. Discussions focused on AI tools and innovative technologies as the frontrunners of tourism development throughout Africa. They also discussed the importance and support of education, entrepreneurial skills and public-private partnership.
