The following are some of the ways to get in touch with each other travel pillow When packing for a trip, the first thing on everyone’s list is a pair of sunglasses. long-haul flight The bean bag style you see in airports is not always the best choice. Thankfully, plenty of brands nowadays offer superior alternatives—and Trtl especially has made good headway in changing the game for frequent flyers.

Trtl Travel Pillows are more like a fleece scarf, than a pillow. They have an internal U-shaped support that rests under your mouth, and a memory pad for your head. The fabric is wrapped around your neck, then connected with velcro. The original received high praise from most reviewers, but others were disappointed by the shape. The brand listened and has now released an adjustable version that offers more customizable support for all heights.

    Trtl Pillow Plus

Pros: It is lightweight, machine washable and adjustable in two directions.
Cons: Hot sleepers may find it uncomfortable.

On a recent trip, I was faced with a 14-hour plane ride. JapanI was excited to give it a try. In order to ensure an unbiased test, I tested the original version and the adjustable versions at home the evening before my flight. Undeniably, the additional control the newer version gave made a noticeable difference in my comfort level while sat upright—and I’m not even tall, at 5’4″. I also asked my 6’2″ partner to try it, and he agreed that the Plus version was more comfortable.

It was a completely different experience than using a U shaped neck pillow. I felt like I had been tucked into a neck brace. It was a little fiddly to adjust it, so I recommend doing it before you board. The long flight is already exhausting enough.

Once primed, however, I found that the new Trtl Travel Pillow was a great addition to my bag. carry-on. This was much more comfortable than leaning my head against the window. It caused me neck and back pains when I had to get off. This is especially true for people with disabilities. in the aisle and middle seats—it’s undoubtedly a better support system than the seat’s headrest when attempting to nod off upright.

The main bonus is that it prevents your head from jerking forward and waking you up, so it’s a good choice for overnight flights. It was a great way to get home. London I woke up at 6 am having slept more than usual. This helped to reduce the jet lag a bit. No neck pain either when I landed.

The carry bag is only 9 ounces and will not affect your luggage allowance. It also has a clip that you can attach to your backpack. backpack. The plastic insert can be removed and the machine is ready to use.

Some people may find the fabric too warm, even though it is soft and cozy. Brands would be wise to offer an adjustable version of the cooler version as well. This neck pillow was not a problem for me because I sleep cool. However, it might not be the best for those who sleep hot.

It’s more expensive because of the increased functionality. Trtl’s pillow is $60, but this one costs $90. You may be satisfied with the original pillow, as many users already are. The neck support of the Plus is a definite improvement over the original version. I will be packing this version into my bag. suitcase I’m already planning my next trip. What about my U-shaped cushion? This will stay at home.
