Travelers can now scan a QR code to speed through customs instead of waiting in line at the airport for passports to be scanned or travel dates to be verified.
The new entry systems, called ArriveAntiguaIn April 2025, the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation, and Investment minister launched the project in collaboration between the Antigua Department of Immigration and Antigua and Barbuda’s Customs and Accise Division.

How it works: Visit 72 hours in advance of your departure. ArriveAntigua.com It only works on mobile devices or tablets (not on laptops or desktop computers). If you’re a U.S. Citizen, choose the “Visitor Traveler Type” and scan your passport as well as the passports of all family members traveling with you. You cannot add non-related travelers. The other travelers must fill out their own application.
After your passport is verified, you’ll need to upload a picture to verify your identity. You will then be asked to provide your flight details (arrival and departure), your home address and the reason for your visit. After you enter all of your travel information and personal information, you’ll be asked to answer the standard customs question.
After you submit your form, a QR code will be sent to you via email. This QR code will be required to enter customs at your arrival, and then again when you leave the country.
ArriveAntigua will allow you to enter your customs data up to three working days in advance of your departure. This will make customs lines at Antigua Barbuda more efficient, as your data will already have been verified.
ArriveAntigua, at the moment, is only available to travelers who fly into Antigua and Barbuda via commercial airlines. The ultimate goal is for the pre-customs to be extended to private jets and seaport arrivals.
