    Conrad Bora Bora Nui

    • The resort, located in Bora Bora’s lagoon, is a secluded islet with palm trees. Its guests can enjoy exclusive access to Motu Tapu – a beautiful private island.
    • The open-air treatment areas at the hilltop offer breathtaking views of the resort as well as the South Pacific Ocean.
    • Upa Upa’s lounge bar has glass panels on the floor, which allows guests to see fish and sharks of different species while they enjoy cocktails.
    • Conrad Bora Bora has the only two story overwater villa on Bora Bora. This villa boasts two bedrooms, a hot tub, an infinity-pool, and three balconies.

I Hunger-Gamed My Way onto the Small Plane from Tahiti You can also find out more about the following: Bora Bora Then I sat down on a window seat. It was recommended that I sit to the left for the best view of this renownedly photogenic French Polynesian Island. The advice was sound, as turquoise waters, sand bars, and other natural beauty appeared from nowhere.

After deplaning from the plane, I was in a boat within 15 minutes, heading to a private bay on Motu To’opua. This islet is located on Bora Bora. As we neared land, I saw the Conrad Bora Bora Nui overwater bungalows in the turquoise lagoon.

After a warm welcome and a quick check-in, I was in a golf cart on my way to the luxurious villa with a one-bedroom, which with its thatched roofing and wooden interiors blended harmoniously with natural surroundings. Roger Godin described the resort as a mix of modern luxury and Polynesian style.

During my stay I was frequently surprised by the feeling of intimacy and privacy that the resort gave me. Only at breakfast did I get a hint that the resort might be full. This illusion is one of the highlights of the guest experience. Godin said that “Conrad Bora Bora Nui was designed to give guests a sense seclusion and calm, allowing them to immerse themselves fully in the natural beauty Bora Bora.” Travel + Leisure. “Our resort is situated in a position and shape which provides 100% privacy. This makes guests feel like they are the only ones, away from mass tourism.

Bora Bora is known as a honeymoon destination, but after a few days here, I realized that the island—and the resort—are worth visiting, whether or not you’re celebrating a life milestone.

“We create memorable experiences for all types of travelers.” Godin stated that the resort is perfect for honeymooners, families looking for luxury and adventure or friends who want to get away.

Staying at Conrad Bora Bora Nui is a great experience.

    The Rooms

The hotel features 114 villas and suites in multiple categories including garden villas on the beach, lagoon view villas with lagoon views, overwater bungalows and presidential overwater bungalows.

Godin explained that each type offers unique features, such as direct access to the lagoon, private pools and breathtaking views. The lagoon view suites, with their large living rooms, are an excellent choice for families. Garden villas and Beach villas, on the other hand, offer more privacy in a lush, secluded environment.

Godin described my overwater villa as “the quintessential Bora Bora adventure.” The bungalow had all the modern amenities I could ask for: air conditioning and a huge bathroom with a bathtub, ample seating, and a closet. I also had a private terrace with an infinity-pool and stunning views of a lagoon.

The coral reef beneath my bungalow allowed for a constant flow of colorful fish to swim. A special moment during my stay was a morning early in the morning, when I sat out on the deck and watched sharks, fish, and rays swim by.

A two-story presidential villa overwater offers 3,229 square foot of space. There is also an infinity swimming pool, lagoon views and a butler.

No matter the category of room, all guests can access an island host – the resort’s version of a butler. Godin explained that the island host will tailor each guest’s experience to suit their individual needs.

Conrad Bora Bora Nui features five restaurants and bars. Iriatai serves fine dining French cuisine; Banyan offers modern seafood and Chinese dishes; Tamure Beach Grill is an open-air restaurant serving Mediterranean and Polynesian food; Tarava Pool Bar lets guests order drinks near the pool and the Upa-Upa Lounge Bar serves cocktails and light fare. Godin told T+L The chefs of each restaurant prepare dishes using local ingredients that are flavored with Polynesia.

Godin continued, “Guests can choose from a variety international cuisines and themed dining experiences. Ahi Ma’a – a Polynesian Dinner and Show that is held every Friday – is a good example. Live entertainment is provided, such as local dancers, a fireshow, and a buffet with Polynesian food prepared in an oven underground. The guests can also take a private jet to Motu Tapu, where they can enjoy a picnic on the water. (And by picnic, we don’t mean finger sandwiches—think lobster and champagne at sunset.)

Breakfast (fresh fruits, bread and cereals) was one of my favorite dining experiences. poisson cruI had my food delivered to my deck by canoe, then enjoyed it while admiring the blue waters.

There are also many water activities. Kayaks, snorkeling equipment and paddleboards are available for guests to use. Jet-skiing and kiteboarding are also available. Scuba diving and outrigger rides can be arranged upon request. The hotel organized a snorkeling excursion to a nearby location, as well as swimming with sharks, rays, and other marine life.

    The Spa

The view from the hilltop spa of this hotel was so breathtaking that I had to wait a few extra minutes before my treatment. The path up is lined with tropical flowers of all colors, and the panoramic views are breathtaking. Entering Hina Spa—the name pays tribute to the Polynesian moon goddess—immediately sets the tone for sheer relaxation with earthy tones and views of the sea.

The tranquil treatment suites look out onto the lagoon. The luxurious double treatment villas have whirlpools.

The resort has partnered up with French skincare brand Biologique Recherche in order to offer a variety of treatments, ranging from a Polynesian Body Scrub to a Detoxifying Algae Wrap. Godin revealed that the Face Sculpting Massage is one of the resort’s signature treatments. The Tahitian, a Polynesian-style medium-pressure massage, was so relaxing that I wanted to take a nap on the premises.

    Offers Family Friendly

The hotel has a special kids club that offers activities such as treasure hunts, arts and craft, babysitting service, and children’s play area. There are also family-friendly accommodation options, such as the Lagoon Suites and Beach Villas.

    Accessibility and sustainability

The hotel provides accessible facilities including ramps, pathways and rooms that have roll-in showers with grab bars.

Conrad Bora Bora Nui has made eco-friendly efforts to ensure sustainability. These include installing solar panels, recycling, using sustainable products and ingredients in its restaurants and adopting energy-efficient practices. The resort also works closely with marine biologists who work to protect and restore local reefs. Godin stated that the resort actively supports local artisans and participates in coral reef conservation by displaying their work in its boutique.
