    Amtrak’s new route from New Orleans makes it easier to visit popular beaches in the Gulf Shores

    Amtrak recently announced a new service connecting Mobile, Alabama, and New Orleans With stops in Biloxi and Gulfport, Mississippi. Amtrak Mardi Gras Service, a new daily service that will operate twice a day.

    Amtrak has said that it will publish the exact dates, prices, and timing of the launch in the coming weeks. The train company also revealed the route would be launched during the summer. The train will make stops in Bay Saint Louis, Biloxi, Gulfport, and Pascagoula—all in Mississippi.

    Amtrak’s president Roger Harris, in a statement obtained from, said that the company aims to bring a festive Mardi Gras feel on every journey. He also wants to share the culture of Gulf Coast while connecting the network. Travel + Leisure.

    New Orleans now offers rail travel in the Southern states a way to reach Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York. The best part is that the Mardi Gras twice daily service allows same-day travel.
