The company released its study, which ranked the 50 states on several factors. These included cost of life, property values and health care ratings. Other factors were crime rates, community centres, parks, climate, and crime rates. Nebraska was the state that women retired in.
The report said that Nebraska was the top state with a cost of living index at 93.1 and an excellent health care system. With an average hospital rating 3.75, it also has a large number of community centers. Nebraska is noted for its moderate climate and average temperature of 48.8°F. It’s a perfect place for outdoor lovers. The Cornhusker State is also ranked first in the country for parks per person.
South Dakota was a close second, with an overall average of 4,03, and had the highest hospital ratings across the country. According to the findings, it has a “reasonable cost of life index of 92.2 – 14th lowest – making it an excellent choice for retirees looking for affordable health care.” There are also many opportunities to socialize, thanks to the 10.98 community centers for every 100,000 residents.
Iowa rounded out the top 3. According to the report, it “stands out because of its high female life expectancy, at 80.4.” Iowa is also home to the highest number of community centers and parks per capita.
Kansas is ranked fourth. It’s followed by Mississippi and Florida. Then, North Dakota, Wyoming, Wisconsin, North Dakota and West Virginia complete the top 10.
Hawaii is the place to be if you want to find the area with the highest life expectancy of women. The report states that women in Hawaii live on average 83.1 years. You’ll have to deal with the high cost of livingBut it may be worth the effort.
