Nora Tobin—integrated health coach and founder of Nora’s Naturals, a sustainable nutrition line—has created three weekend-long retreats throughout the summer in partnership with the luxury resort. Tobin designed the retreats around her four signature pillars, Restore, Perform Nourish and Glow. She wanted to incorporate personal wellbeing without sacrificing indulgence.
The level of participation, given that the guests are on vacation, is up to them. The guests can choose to participate in a three-day immersive retreat, which still allows for plenty of time on the beach and at restaurants. Or they can pick their favorite activities à la carte.
Weekends will be packed with seminars, small group sessions, and individual sessions. I had a chance to sample some of Tobin’s amazing offerings, but what I liked most was being able to combine my love of vacations with my desire to improve my own health. We would practice beachside yoga, listening to the sounds of the crashing waves, and then follow that up with a crisp glass of Champagne—which, in my opinion, is the perfect way to end a yoga class. As I experienced a small sample of each of the weekends to come, I was able to learn new wellness techniques which are easy for me to incorporate into both my personal life and my professional one.
Guests can enjoy 35 acres of tropical paradise when classes are not being held. This includes three pools, a fitness centre, tennis courts, golf courses, and a Balinese style spa.
