The respondents were asked to rate each characteristic. They could select excellent, superior, average, inferior, or poor. The final scores are the averages of all these responses.

Hôtel Crillon le Brave
Auriane Sanchez/Hôtel Crillon le Brave
Set within a series of old stone homes in a 17th-century Provençal village at the foothills of Mont Ventoux, Hôtel Crillon le Brave is as postcard-pretty as it gets. To reach the 34 rooms and apartments, travelers will have to weave through sun-dappled village lanes. They are furnished with linen and terracotta tiles. The centrally located terrace and pool are the ideal gathering place to enjoy pastis while taking in the view. No visit to this hotel is complete without eating a meal al fresco on the terrace of La Table du Ventoux, where chef Adrien Brunet pays tribute to classic Provençal cuisine. The grotto spa is a great place to relax with treatments such as massages, acupressure, and facials. One reader described Hôtel Crillon le Brave as “the perfect base for exploring the Luberon region,” while another said, “I’ll be thinking about this hotel for the rest of my life!”
