    Florida will have the second-highest growth rate of any state by 2023. According to data from the Census Bureau, 365.205 people are expected to move to the Sunshine State in that year. It’s not hard to understand why Florida is so popular: it’s warm, sunny, and has no income tax.

    Late in June, the site revealed its list for the top 10 most liveable destinations in Florida. They were described as places that have “low crime, easy access health care, green spaces and good schools” along with “clean air, low crime, good schools.” Wilton Manors was ranked No. The state’s No.

    According to the team’s calculations, the annual cost for living in this community, just north Fort Lauderdale, is $76,000. The monthly cost, however, is $6,337. The median home value is $720 629 and the median income is $79 390. It also has an livability rating of 91. 

    AreaVibes gave the community an A+ in almost all categories, including amenities, commutes, crime, housing, health, safety and user ratings. Only the schools could use improvement. They scored a B+, but still impressive. And, surprising, they received a C- on cost of living. All of this combined to give the community a high score. 

    Doctor Phillips in Florida is ranked No. A city located just outside Orlando scored 89 for livability, while Seminole near Tampa came in second place.

    To locate these places, GOBankingRates analyzed information via AreaVibes.comThe seed list is a selection of places with an index of livability of at least 80. It took into account the total population in each place, the total number of homes, and the household average income. This information was sourced through the U.S. Census American Community Survey. Sperling’s BestPlaces was used to calculate the cost of life, including groceries, health care costs, housing, utilities and transportation expenses. It also took into account the average value of a single-family house. The cities were sorted to show the ones with the best livability and the lowest cost of living.
