    This Coastal Town Just Named Florida’s Wealthiest Suburb

    In late July, GOBankingRates released its list of the wealthiest suburbs in Florida. The list was compiled by examining all Florida cities with at least 5,000 households and then identifying the 20 suburbs that had the highest household average incomes. It noted that they also looked at other factors such as the metro area of each suburb and its 2025 average home value to get a complete picture. 

    According to this study, Florida is home to half of its wealthiest suburbs. These include Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach and other wealthy areas. 

    It is not surprising that the country with the highest average income per household is the United States. Palm Beach. GOBankingRates revealed that the suburb had an average household of income of $356,467. However, the typical home’s value was a staggering $10,211.635.

    According to a 2024 wealth tracking analysis by Henley & Partners, Palm Beach County, which includes both Palm Beach and West Palm Beach, experienced a 112 percent increase in millionaires between 2014 and 2024, putting it as the No. 4 fastest-growing city for global wealth In the Wealthiest Cities Report, 2025. The analysis also found West Palm Beach Palm Beach is home to 10,500 billionaires, 11,500 millionaires.

    Pinecrest is ranked second, with an average household income of $1,017,476. However, the typical home value in Pinecrest is $2,406,476.

    Lake Butler is ranked No. With an average household earning of $289.593 and an average home value of $748.699, Parkland is ranked No. Parkland ranks No. 4 with an average household income of  $229,861, but with a slightly higher typical home value of $1,099,595. Coral Gables, with an average household of $209 687, rounds out the top 5, but with a slightly higher home value, $1,983,472.
