Skytrax has named Qatar Airways the best airline of the world. The carrier’s Qsuites are known for their spacious and upscale seats in its business class.

These awards, which were launched in 1999, are based on worldwide passenger surveys. They’re considered to be among the most respected in commercial aviation.
On June 17, 2025 in France, Qatar Airways It was named as the World’s Best Airline in the second consecutive year This is the ninth time that Skytrax has been able to achieve this feat.
Qatar Airways ranked first out of 325 airlines included in the survey. According to Skytrax award and survey methodologyThe rankings are not limited to member airlines, or even a pre-selected airline. Any airline from around the globe can be considered. Customers are asked to choose their favorite airline, and the Passenger’s Choice Awards is the result.
The CEO of Qatar Airways Group, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer stated in the Skytrax press release. “Continually being recognized as a 5 Star Airline underlines our mission: To set new benchmarks in the industry and ensure that our customers feel valued, cared for and inspired to come back.”
Qatar Airways, the flag carrier for Qatar with its headquarters located in Doha was also named Best Airline of the Middle East.
Qatar Airways’ Airbus A380 aircraft is one of the most popular amongst fliers. It features two floors as well as one of largest on-board lounges. Its business class—branded as Qsuites and includes a series of private suites with sliding doors—was named the World’s Best Business Class, while the airline’s Al Mourjan Garden Lounge in Doha was named the World’s Best Business Class Airline Lounge.
Singapore AirlinesWhich was No. 1 in 2023 And, who has won this award five times in a span of ten years, retained second place the second year running. Cathay Pacific was in third place, and Emirates was at number one for 2025. All Nippon Airways, No. 4, and Cathay Pacific Airways No. 5.
