Lululemon’s New Travel Pants: The Best Leggings Available

Leggings for me are notoriously hit-or-miss, especially when I am on the move. You can overheat and have to wait for take-off. Too thin and they will be visible when you pick up your suitcase at baggage claim. Lululemon is a brand I know and trust. Its latest leggings launch has managed to surpass my expectations.

The new Lululemon Align No Line Leggings This is a thoughtful update of the fan favorite (and celeb-approved) Align High-rise PantsI was pleasantly surprised when I tried them out for the first. my new travel uniform. The front seam has been removed (hence, the name No Line Leggings). This is the detail that shoppers have begged for years to change (they were literally flooding the reviews section with their requests). Lululemon’s customers complained that the front seam, particularly in lighter colors, was not flattering. Other customers claimed they rode or sat awkwardly, causing them discomfort.

At first I was not convinced that the brand would be able to improve upon perfection. But then I wore them to a yoga class—no rolling waistband, no awkward adjusting, and definitely no visible sweat marks. Since then they have been a part of every aspect of my life, including coffee runs, trips from New York City up to New Jersey on the train, travel days and more.

These pants are still made from Lululemon’s ultra-soft Nulu material, a blend of nylon and Lycra that feels like second skin. They have a 4-way stretch and sweat wicking technology, so they can withstand any situation, whether you’re sprinting to an airport terminal, or falling asleep at 30,000 ft. The seamless gusset design keeps the pants in place. They also have a convenient interior pocket that can be used to store your card or key.

I bought them at first in classic black, but now that I have seen the other colors I want them all. There are so many styling options. They can be paired with anything.
