Owners of Darwin Airport, and adjacent hotels Airport Development Group, launched the Novotel, Mercure & Ibis Darwin Airport Resorts in December 2023, creating a unique resort haven – a first for Australian hotels – just a five-minute walk from the airport terminals.
The resort’s 51-metre pool is one of Australia’s largest, and it offers a wide range of accommodation options, from luxury pool villas to economy rooms. Novotel, Mercure & Ibis Darwin Airport Resorts’ new General Manager, Raymond Bragg, said it was a privilege to take over a property that was so pioneering in its product delivery.
Mr Bragg said that the feedback from guests has been exceptional since the launch of resorts.
