Qhotels collection It announced that all 19 hotels and resorts have achieved the adoption of green tourism, which indicates their commitment to sustainability.
The Qhotels group was on a 12 -month trip to implement sustainable practices through its wallet, as it adopts and includes environmental and social solutions and governance (ESG) to reduce carbon fingerprint, which helps save the planet.
Green tourism, The leading sustainability certificate for travel, tourism and hospitality companies aims to encourage responsible, sustainable and environmentally friendly practices through hospitality and the broader tourism sector.
When the certificate is achieved, the Qhotels group was evaluated through three main columns: people, places and planet, with more than 270 criteria analyzed in order to give them the green light.
People focus on communicating with society, as well as equality and diversity; Place includes enhancing public transportation and encouraging guest participation in low carbon experiences; Planet includes waste reduction and increased recycling, as well as carbon monitoring and installation of BMS power management systems for efficiency.
“Green Champions” has been set throughout the wallet, with responsibilities to ensure that all employees involve sustainability standards and make operating changes wherever possible.
Besides operation, the hotel group also enhances purchases and purchases to align itself with its conscious efforts.
Other initiatives so far include the expansion of electric cars charging points and the reduction of the use of paper and plastic materials with a single use. For more driving, guests are invited to join the Qhotels group on the sustainability journey through simple procedures such as following the towel policy and linen, maintaining energy by closing windows, responsibility using lighting and air conditioning.

Green Tourism also called on the Qhotels collection to be part of an exclusive pilot of the carbon emissions tracking program that will be launched soon, which exceeds greenhouse gas emissions from range 1, 2 and 3 for companies and produces a certificate that summarizes the total emissions.
