The Garden District Hotel opened its doors officially in June. It brings contemporary luxury to NOLA’s most beautiful neighborhoods. In the Garden District’s historic district, this boutique hotel is nestled among oak trees and offers Southern hospitality at its best. It also has a variety of gathering areas, including the only swim-up pool bar in The Big Easy.
The hotel is managed by Dreamscape Hospitality of Dallas. It has 47 rooms with plush furniture, marble bathrooms, and herringbone floors. The Deluxe Loft Queen has a private balcony with views of the tree-lined streets in the neighborhood. While the District Suite, with its vaulted ceilings and loft living area, features two bathrooms, two bedrooms, two baths, and a loft.
The jewel of this hotel is a shimmering saltwater heated pool. Guests can sip tropical cocktails on the pool deck—on loungers under striped umbrellas, or from a seat at the swim-up bar. The hotel promotes socialization with lawn games, an events calendar, and scheduled yoga sessions at the poolside. Non-hotel guests can purchase day passes.
Another distinct social hub, set just off the lobby, the Garden Bar serves handcrafted cocktails—such as the Adult Swim, a fruity and herbaceous gin sour—amid bold tropical murals, exposed brick walls, tiled floors, and warm leather seating.
