Aman Rosa alpina, Dolomites to reopen after complete redesign

In the village of San Cassiano you will find this beautiful villa. Italy‘s UNESCO-listed Dolomites, Aman Rosa Alpina Reopening on 24th July 2025 after a complete transformation by Aman, architect Jean-Michel Gathy.

Pizzinini has operated the hotel in Alta Badia for three generations. The hotel is known for it’s charm, its proximity to skiing and for its quiet location. After several years working as an Aman The property is now fully integrated in the global portfolio of the group. The redesign is intended to maintain the spirit of the hotel’s original design while also bringing it into line with Aman’s trademarks of privacy and intuitive service.

The updated property features a double-height reception lounge with a bar that is inspired by the original Piano Bar. All 68 suites and rooms have been completely redesigned. Two new Aman Suites of 150 square metres each were introduced along with a Chalet Zeno that has now been transformed into a two-suite private mountain residence.

Aman Spa has three swimming pools, two indoor and one outdoor, a Jacuzzi as well as a treatment menu that is rooted in Dolomites restorative traditions. The spa is part of a wider range of family-friendly amenities, which includes three private cinemas, a games room for children and adults, and a ski lodge with heated boot racks.

Aman Rosa will offer a variety of new dining experiences, including an Italian grill, a lounge open all day for afternoon tea and cocktails, and a breakfast room featuring live cooking stations. A cigar and spirits bar will be available for evening indulgence. Private wine tastings can also take place in the new cellar style library. In the winter season of 2025/26 a Japanese Restaurant is planned.

In the summer, guided mountain biking, hiking and climbing are available. Two private mountain cabins owned by the Pizzinini’s will be available to guests for full-day excursions. Chefs will prepare lunches on a wood fire.
