Chicago has been a wonderful place to eat since a very long time. It’s a city that has it all. From its iconic dishes to the show’s famous Italian beef sandwich. Chicago’s classic “go-to” dishes
I’m a fan of three things: Portillo’s, Mr. Beef. Lou Malnati’s. The names of these establishments are so ingrained in the fabric and history of the city, that even saying them brings back fond memories. Portillo’s is a fast-paced restaurant with all the Chicago classics like super-sized sandwiches, hot dogs and other comfort foods. Mr. Beef is about the no-frills Italian beef sandwiches that are served hot and dipped. Lou Malnati’s, a deep-dish institution, is another. It’s a comforting feeling to be in places like this. When you walk in, they don’t let you down.
