Crescent SeasThatcher Brown has been appointed Chief Executive Officer for the new concept of private residences offering ultra-luxury at sea. This appointment is effective on August 1. Brown will be joining Crescent Seas as Chief Executive Officer from Virtuoso – the world’s most prestigious luxury travel network – where he was Senior Vice President Global Products.
Brown’s new role will see him shaping the brand identity and leading Crescent Seas global vision. He will also oversee all aspects of operation. Brown will be responsible to develop commercial strategies, products, and build relationships with key industry stakeholders. This will help the company maintain its position as a leader in ocean living.

Brown has more than 25 years experience in luxury hospitality. She has held leadership roles in Europe, Asia, Middle East and North America. Brown was responsible for the integration of B2B/B2C strategy in a portfolio that included more than 2,300 luxury partners including cruise lines and tour companies. He also delivered innovation on digital platforms and partner engagement as well as consumer experience.
Brown held executive positions at MSC Cruises, Dream Cruises, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings. As Chief Commercial officer and Head Joint Operations, Brown led the development and execution of commercial, technical, and operational aspects of Four Seasons Yachts. He also served in executive roles at MSC Cruises, Dream Cruises, and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, with a focus on brand strategy and marketing, business development, distribution, and guest experience.
