The most recent update to this distinguished list is Aava Resort & Spa in Khanom, Thailand, which has passed the audit for the second time, demonstrating the highest commitment to responsible tourism and environmental stewardship.
What is Travelife?
Travelife A sustainability certification program specifically designed for the travel and tourism industry. Backed by Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC)Travelife has a total of more than 160 Criteria On key issues such as environmental impact, waste water management, employment practices, biodiversity conservation and community engagement. For certification, hotels must undergo rigorous independent audits and prove continuous improvement. This is one of the most demanding and comprehensive eco-certification programs in global hospitality.

This resort is a leader in sustainable luxury and has been for many years. Travelife gold certification. The resort offers an eco-luxury model in Thailand. From local staff training to solar power, plastic-free policy and mangrove preservation. The hotel was also recognized for its eco-luxury. Thailand’s Best Eco-Lodge/Hotel Tourism Authority of Thailand (Taiwan) in 2020 - Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge – Nepal
Travelife has certified this property as having dramatic Himalayan views, and it is validated by them. GSTC Global Standards.
