Australian airline Skytrans is now distributing its content via Sabre Corporation, a global leader in travel technology. Skytrans’ offers and fares are now available on Sabre’s global marketplace for travel, allowing travel agents to easily book Skytrans flight, even new routes.

Skytrans will benefit from the expanded reach of the partnership, which allows the airline to offer fares and other content to Sabre connected travel agencies in Australia and corporate travellers. The collaboration strengthens Sabre’s market position in Australia by allowing Sabre-connected agents to access more domestic airline options and create customized offers for travelers.

Skytrans has added Sydney to Lord Howe flights, and there is growing interest in all of our destinations. Joining Sabre’s global marketplace for travel represents an important milestone. Paul Williams, Skytrans Revenue and Network Manager.

Skytrans provides flights between Cairns, Cape York and the Whitsunday Coast. The Queensland carrier, in line with its commitment to meeting the traveller’s demand and growth strategy, will soon begin flying from Sydney to Lord Howe Island – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Avia Solutions Group has added Airbus A319 aircrafts to the airline’s fleet.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Skytrans to Sabre’s global travel marketplace to help to grow their business and enable more travellers to explore the destinations they serve,” said Brett Thorstad is Vice President of Sabre Travel Solutions in Asia Pacific, Agency Sales and Airline Distribution. This agreement highlights our commitment to allow airlines of any size to offer greater choice and flexibility for travellers, whether they are looking to explore large cities or more distant destinations.
