Kimpton La Peer Hotel announces the appointment of Ryan Parker to General Manager. Parker has over 20 years of hospitality experience, including 11 years as General Manager in multiple hotels. He is known for his ability to drive improvements in operational initiatives and push creative limits, while leading high-producing teams.
He joins La Peer Hotel from Hana-Maui Resort where he held the position of General Manager and oversaw three F&B venues, one gas station, a full-service spa and a retail town center. Parker served as the General Manager of The Shay Hotel in Culver city, California, before that. He oversaw The Shay’s growth and opening in Los Angeles and managed budgets during the pandemic.
Parker has a good understanding of the Kimpton brand. In his early hospitality career, he worked at Kimpton Hotels primarily in Chicago, IL and Santa Barbara. Parker has a track record for exceeding budgeted revenue, increasing guest experience metrics, and driving exceptional results. He is well-suited to advance the operations and guest experiences of Kimpton La Peer.
Parker spends his spare time cooking, walking, art galleries, and drinking white and black wine.
