US: Hospitality platform RMS launched its Pay product officially in the United States and Canada.
RMS Pay is already used in Australia and Europe and will be available to North American operators for automating financial processes like payment requests, receipts and reconciliation.
It can be used for all types and sizes of hospitality businesses. From boutique hotels to campgrounds and RV parks to multi-property properties.
Pay by Link and automated payment schedules, which allow operators to send secure and trackable payment links by SMS or email can reduce no-shows, and improve cash flow forecasting.
RMS pay is PCI DSS certified, and tokenised data storage protects guest payment information. It provides real-time information on payment status.
Adam Seskis CEO at RMS RMS Pay has been described as a “solution that solves the biggest challenge in hospitality, namely fragmented payments systems which waste time while reducing profitability.
Accommodation providers, especially independent owner-operators, are underserved in terms of fully integrated payments tailored for hospitality. “By embedding payments in our platform, operators are able to streamline their day-today tasks, improve their cash-flow, and offer guests a frictionless experience when paying,” he said.
James MacRae has been appointed as the head of payments by RMS to support its expansion. MacRae held leadership roles at Visa, Sportsbet and ANZ.
