The Scope 1 and 2 emission levels are eliminated. In addition, the hotel implemented measures to lower Scope 3 emissions, through its operations and supply chain, in particular areas such as laundry, food and beverages, and waste disposal.
The hotel has a number of amenities including a newly renovated gym, six meeting spaces equipped with audiovisual technology and Wi-Fi high-speed. The hotel is located near the Oslo Opera House, the Munch Museum and other key landmarks in Oslo.
Radisson RED is Oslo City Centre’s second Verified Net Zero Hotel by Radisson Hotel Group. A similar hotel opened in Manchester earlier in the year. Verified Net Zero is evident in the hotel through initiatives such as low-carbon menus and zero-waste practices.
