QuoreCleanings Plus is being implemented in 74 hotels of the IHG group.® Army Hotels, representing 12,190 guestrooms at 40 Army posts across the United States and Puerto Rico. Each hotel is equipped with the latest technology to improve performance, track rooms status and better coordinate tasks.
Cleanings Plus The software manages the housekeeping process from beginning to end. It streamlines communication, improves staff accountability, and boosts productivity. Hoteliers can improve their tracking of operations by using customized cleaning inspection templates and breakout boards. Cleanings Plus gathers detailed data to help hotels make better staffing decisions. This eliminates the guesswork and saves money.
IHG Army Hotels is part of a collaboration between IHG Hotels & Resorts, the U.S. Army, Centinel Public Partnerships LLC, and the Army’s Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL) program. The collective faces unique operational challenges—and opportunities—unlike any other hotel group in the world. As U.S. Army facilities are gated and secure, they add layers of logistical challenges for guests and employees, which makes clear communication and operational transparency more crucial.
Vail Ros, Quore’s VP of Business Development said: “We’re proud to support IHG Army Hotels in their mission through the rollout Cleanings Plus.” This project shows how technology can be used to create efficient, safe, and respectful environments that are beneficial for soldiers and their families.
Quore has enjoyed a successful partnership with IHG Army Hotels since 2019. Quore’s user-friendly design and adaptability as well as its strong support model made it the first choice of military lodging providers.
Derek Nelson, Director Regional Operations at IHG Army Hotels said: “We have an engaged and diverse team of operators.” “After evaluation it was clear that Quore’s Platform was simpler, intuitive and easy to implement throughout our portfolio. The combination of corporate support provided by IHG and this platform made the transition seamless.
Nelson stated that user feedback on Cleanings Plus was instantaneous after Nelson tested it.
“Housekeepers supervisors and managers could communicate and assign room in real time using iPads, desktops and smartphones,” he explained. “Our GM at The Candlewood Suites Fort Gordon, the largest Candlewood Suites in the world located at Fort Gordon Army Post (Augusta, Ga.). Some even said they had been able to cancel the radio contract that was costing them hundreds of dollars a month. It had that much impact.“
Quore’s training and support are key to this rollout’s success. Each location is assigned a Quore Champion to ensure that questions are quickly answered and knowledge is spread internally.
Nelson said, “The Quore training and support have been outstanding.” They are responsive, flexible and truly listen to our feedback. Cleanings Plus provides easy access to recorded training for our new hires through our SharePoint system, and subject matter specialists are always on-hand. Working with Quore has been a real delight—they’re collaborative, responsive, and always looking for ways to help us improve.”
More Than Technology—A Mission-Driven Collaboration
This deployment has a significant impact on the military family, but it also represents a valuable partnership.
“IHG Army Hotels is more than just a portfolio—it’s a haven for our soldiers, their families, and guests,” said Nelson. “We are honored to manage these Army Post properties.”
IHG Army Hotels holds an annual internal conference, which includes the Quore Awards. These awards recognize top-performing hotels in areas like consistency, completion of work orders, and platform use. These awards promote friendly competition, and encourage deeper engagement with the platform.
Ross stated that this partnership was a win-win situation. “We’re not just providing a product—we’re supporting a mission. We take our responsibility to help IHG Army Hotels provide for those who have served seriously. And we are thrilled to be a part of this journey.
