Dubai Premier Inn Middle East in collaboration with Emirates Leisure Retail participated in the 18th Emirates Physical Fitness Championship for Determination, organised by the Emirates Autism Center. In order to support the initiative, 500 lunch boxes were distributed to children with Autism at an Al Jazira Club fitness event in Abu Dhabi.
Under the patronage H.E. The 18th Emirates Physical Fitness Championship for People of Determination is held under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan. This event supports the global Autism Awareness Campaign by increasing public awareness and improving the quality of living for those on the autism spectrum. This event is also a demonstration of the UAE’s commitment to provide inclusive opportunities to all members.
Children of Determination, from all over the UAE, participated in sports and fitness events aimed at promoting physical activity, community involvement, and inclusion. To keep the children’s energy and spirits up, members of Premier Inn Abu Dhabi hotels and their ELR colleagues happily handed out healthy lunchboxes filled with fresh fruit and juice, as well as baked goods.
We are proud to be a part of this meaningful event and support the Emirates Autism Center. Our team members felt honoured to share the special day with these children and families. This initiative is a reflection of our commitment to be a Force For Good, making a positive impact in the communities that we serve. Simon Leigh is the Managing Director at Premier Inn Middle East
