The Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda Renovation is Completed by Premier

Premier provided architecture, interior designs, and procurement for a $4 million hotel renovation.

Premier is proud of the latest renovation to its upscale service hotel: the Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda.

Premier, as part of the $4 million renovation project, provided expertise in interior design, architecture and procurement to transform the hotel’s bar, lounge, restaurant and fitness center. Premier also oversaw the update of the exterior and arrival experience.

The Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda’s interior design program was inspired by the nearby urban parks.  Downtown Bethesda is characterized by its green spaces and trails, which blend into the urban environment. Premier’s Interior Design team was inspired by this. Hilton Brighthearted Program – an initiative to incorporate the needs of the local cultural and business communities by creating community-inspired spaces with a focus on offering authentic local experiences.

Helping the owners optimize the impact of their renovation budget, Premier’s Interior Design team maximized the project’s cost efficiency by cleverly resurfacing, reclaiming, and repurposing existing furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) and built-in millwork, effectively reducing materials and construction expenses, and streamlining the project’s overall timeline.

Laura L. Bennett – Senior Interior Designer, Premier – says that the Premier Interior Design team was most proud of their work on the great room and lobby space.  The registration desk has been rearranged and made more accessible to team members so they can better assist guests.  The quick-print station was moved closer to front desk. The sundries were relocated in the former business center, which was opened up for better merchandising and revenue generation.  “Overall, the design captures Hilton Garden Inn’s style and creates a welcoming destination that embraces neighborhood textures, colors and vibes.”

Premier’s Interior Design team added functionality to the back of the house areas as a value add for the owners.  Premier’s Interior Design team repurposed underutilized square footage into new office space for hotel’s operation teams after reviewing the floor plan.
