Mody’s appointment expands Premier’s Development team. It also adds significant fundraising, debt and equity structuring expertise, as well as adaptive reuse to the firm.
Premier is proud to announce Kunal Mody as its new Senior Vice-President of Development. Mody, who has more than 13-years of experience at the executive level in real estate, brings to Premier a wealth of knowledge about historic tax credits and fundraising. Mody also brings extensive expertise on adaptive reuse projects.
Mody, a seasoned expert in the hospitality industry, joins Premier after serving as Chief Executive Officer of Blueprint Hospitality since 2012. Mody has been a leader in the hospitality industry for over a decade. His career has seen him raise equity, debt and structure complex financial model, as well as overseeing all phases of a development project. Mody is based out of Chicago and his addition to Premier’s Leadership team further strengthens Premier’s capabilities and reach in the Midwest and Northern United States.

Mody’s appointment to Premier Development is a natural fit. While previously heading Blueprint Hospitality Mody worked with Premier on several projects including the Le Meridien Fort Worth Downtown historical hotel conversion and adaptive use project, which was recently completed. Mody’s new position with Premier will see him working alongside Premier’s Senior Vice President for Development Rex Tullius. He will be focusing on Premier’s portfolio of hospitality, mixed-use, and multi-family projects.
