Hôtel de SersThe. B Signature Hotels & Resorts collection located in the famous Triangle d’Or, just moments from the Champs-Élysées and Avenue Montaigne, has reopened its doors following a comprehensive renovation that honors its 19th-century heritage while embracing a refined, contemporary vision of hospitality. Once the private mansion of Henri-Léopold Charles, Marquis de Sers, the hotel retains the architectural splendor of its Haussmannian origins. Key period features have been meticulously preserved, including the carriage entrance, a monumental marble staircase with wrought-iron detailing, and the original salon de réception with ornate moldings and soaring ceilings. The renovation was led by interior designer Pascal Allaman, in collaboration with the owners Anne and Agathe Jusse. It focused on enhancing a property’s historic identity while bringing a modern, fresh sensibility.

Hôtel de Sers’ atmosphere of quiet sophistication sets the tone, where the interplay of light and material is central to the design narrative. The soft, golden parquet flooring and restored wood panels create a tactile, warm foundation. Custom lighting highlights architectural details throughout the hotel. The 45 guest rooms and 7 suites feature a palette of neutrals including dove gray, sand and pearl. They are accented by vintage objects d’art and brushed-brass fittings. The boudoir style comfort is reflected in the velvet-upholstered headrests, fluted walls panels and sculptural furnishings. Wallcoverings with geometric patterns and carefully selected wallcoverings add texture and rhythm to the room, while large windows bring in natural light and enhance the tranquil ambiance.

Three Signature Suites are located on the top floor and represent the new vision for the property. The Eiffel Suite boasts uninterrupted views of Eiffel tower, a warm combination of wood and ivory shades, and bespoke furnishings that combine sleek lines with inviting comfort. The Panoramic Suite features a spacious open-plan design with a living room under a glass ceiling, a wraparound couch, a marble writing desk, large windows framing Paris’ rooftops and a breathtaking Eiffel Tower view. The Marquis’ Apartment resembles an expansive Parisian family house, with light oak floors, wall tapestries and iridescent beige curtain. There are also discreet gold accents all over. The newly reopened property has been designed to create the intimacy of a Parisian family home.

Outdoor space is a defining feature of the newly reimagined Hôtel de Sers. The hotel now offers a terrace in half of its rooms and suites, with approximately half of them offering a view of the Eiffel tower. Suite Eiffel has two terraces furnished, one from the living area and one from the bathroom. Both offer spectacular views of the Iron Lady. The Marquis’s Apartment has a large terrace that offers a partial view to the Eiffel tower and opens up onto a secluded private garden. Elegant outdoor furniture is also included. These open-air extensions are a tranquil oasis in the middle of Paris, where guests can enjoy breakfast al fresco, sunset aperitifs or the luxury of space and the sky.

The hotel’s design is unified and harmonious throughout. The entrance gallery is a 22-meter-high (72-feet) space, which is a hallmark of Second Empire mansions. It features portraits from the Marquis de Sers family, providing a dramatic introduction to the hotel experience. The gallery leads into the lobby where ambient lighting and soft minerals create a calm first impression. Géraldine Prieur’s custom-designed graphic rugs provide a bold yet elegant transition from the lobby into the restaurant and bar, tying together stone textures with the sun-warmed palette of the lounge. The glass-covered courtyard patio has been transformed into an urban oasis with its iron trellis, citrus trees and sleek teak furniture. The courtyard patio is a quiet retreat away from the city. It’s perfect for intimate evenings and quiet afternoons. A new wellness area, as well as a partnership with Calma Paris in France, complete the newly renovated guest experience. The space features a massage studio, a traditional Hammam, a sauna and a modern fitness studio.
