Pan Pacific Hotels Group, (PPHG), has announced a transformation of Pan Pacific Perth. This is in response to a resurgent industry and changing expectations of guests. This investment is part of the Group’s global enhancement initiative, which started in 2021 when the award-winning Pan Pacific London opened. The hospitality arm for Singapore-based UOL Group Limited (PPHG), PPHG brings its vision of gracious luxury to life with a juxtaposition between bold and inspired design, enhanced signature service, and sustainable innovations.

Pan Pacific Perth, with its 488 rooms and suites is the largest PPHG property in Australia. It also represents the flagship of the brand. The hotel’s interiors were designed by FDAT Architects and the Pacific Club Lounge was elevated. They are inspired by Western Australia’s natural scenery.

PPHG, as part of its commitment towards responsible tourism has integrated sustainable design in the Pan Pacific Perth. Innovative features include decorative panels made from repurposed denim, hand-pressed natural herbs, and 100% recycled plastics—each crafted to reduce waste and celebrate natural materials through multi-sensorial experiences, aligning with the group’s broader sustainability goals. PPHG has been recognized as the first hospitality company in Oceania that received the Global Sustainable Tourism Council’s (GSTC) Multisite Certification for all of its Australian properties. This highlights its leadership in sustainable tourism.

The convention floor of the hotel, which is 2,500sqm in size and the largest in Perth has been updated with cutting-edge audiovisual equipment, LED screens, and advanced technology. The space offers flexible room configurations, seamless professional support and is designed to accommodate business events, social occasions and conferences with ease.

    Expanded presence in Key Markets

PPHG invests heavily in asset enhancement projects across its Australian portfolio to ensure each property keeps up with the changing expectations of consumers and brand standards.

    • PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport Recently, the 276 guestrooms, conference facilities and public areas have been completely redesigned. The only airport hotel in Melbourne that provides direct access to the Melbourne International Airport and Domestic Airports through covered sky bridges.
    • PARKROYAL Parramatta, Sydney The hotel has been upgraded significantly, including its 286 rooms, meeting and event space. In keeping with the PARKROYAL name, the hotel is deeply rooted in the community. It reflects the vibrant cultural and rapid economic transformation of the region.

The enhancements to these properties come at a moment when the tourism and MICE industries in Australia are gaining momentum. The Australian Trade and Investment Commission predicts that international arrivals will increase by 41% from 2024 to 2028. Singapore has seen a 40% increase in arrivals between 2022-2024.2—a trend projected to continue.

Australia’s MICE Industry is predicted to grow 11.5%, from 2024-2032, thanks to its world-class infrastructure, government support, and the increasing demand for flexible and sustainable event solutions.3. Melbourne and Sydney are still the leading hubs for MICE, and PPHG has a great opportunity to expand its offering to satisfy both leisure and corporate travellers.

PPHG, with a well-established footprint in Australia owns and/or operates six properties: Pan Pacific Melbourne, Pan Pacific Perth, PARKROYAL Darling Harbour Sydney PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport PARKROYAL Parramatta Sydney PARKROYAL Monash Melbourne. These properties offer a range of services to both business and leisure travellers.
