Galia Group, a leading developer in the 17th district, is about to launch La Fondation. This landmark, which spans over 10,000m2, will be a unique landmark. The building is multifaceted and will house a 5-star luxury hotel, two restaurants on the rooftop, an auditorium, office space, a floating pool, sports club, climbing wall, and semi-Olympic swimming pools. Designers Robin Standefer and Stephen Alesch – heads of the renowned New York studio Roman & Williams – designed the warm, enveloping atmosphere of this new Parisian address, which celebrates creation in all its forms. The designers have created a timeless, elegant setting by combining their own unique universe with the expertise of craftsmen. They also curated a bespoke art program. Philippe Chiambaretta Architecte designed the edifice. The building’s exceptional volumes, large panorama windows, and exposed concrete structure, with Brutalist touches, give it a fresh twist on rue Legendre. All of this was achieved thanks to an extensive effort to restore the building’s legacy: the preexisting foundations and structure were sublimated.
