Maestro PMS is reflecting on a highly successful showing at HITEC Indy last week. As the Platinum Sponsor at North America’s largest technology event for hospitality, Maestro made an impression with a booth that was full of energy, enthusiastic crowds and exclusive announcements of new innovations. Maestro, the leader in All-In-One cloud-hosted, private cloud, and on-premises property-management systems for independent hotels and luxury resorts, drew strong interest — particularly for its deep integration capabilities and comprehensive feature set. The preview of the upcoming Maestro Touch user interface caught attendees’ interest, giving them a sneak peek of what is to come.

Tim Major, Maestro’s President, said that there was a lot of energy in the booth this year. It was a great experience to meet so many clients, partners and industry friends face-to-face. Seeing firsthand how our technology is impacting operators—and hearing how excited they are about what’s coming next—was both humbling and inspiring.”

    Maestro touch steals the Spotlight

Maestro Touch is the new tablet-optimized interface that has generated a lot of buzz among attendees who are looking for more mobility and convenience. The next generation interface provides a modern intuitive and touch-optimized Maestro PMS experience. Select properties are currently in the final stages of pilot testing.

    Lead Communication in the Workplace

“Maestro Touch represents the future of front desk operations,” said Lisa Jane ‘LJ’ Wheaton, Senior Product Strategist. “It’s sleek, simple, and modern—built with today’s mobile-first workforce in mind. It’s great to see how operators from different types of properties have embraced it. This shows us that we are delivering a product that is truly up-to-date.

Enhanced features, smarter integrations and a stronger spa offering

Discovering the scope of Maestro’s platform. Many were surprised by the number of tools that are available in a single system. Maestro gives independent operators an unmatched level of flexibility by connecting their favorite tools.

The company also showcased significant upgrades to its Front Desk, Sales & Catering, and Spa Management modules, as well as enhanced capabilities within GuestXMSNow with WhatsApp integration,, the two-way messaging platform for guests and staff, is now available.

HITEC attendees were also keen to see Maestro’s expanded partnership with Silverware, which enables seamless integration between the PMS and POS platforms—delivering real-time connectivity across reservations, dining, gift card management, loyalty programs, VIPs, SGIs, guest preferences and more.

Thomas Small said that it was an honor to be able to share the Silverware booth with Maestro’s team. Our partnership is based on mutual respect and shared visions for the independent hospitality industry. Operators are demanding more cohesive, personalized, and data-driven guest journeys—and together, we were able to demonstrate just that. “People were blown away by Maestro/Silverware’s integration, as well as how it is generating more revenue and streamlining workflows. This has greatly enhanced the modern guest experiences.”

Hospitality Tech: A Look at the Future

Maestro’s team had countless conversations with visitors on the show floor, which provided invaluable insights into the future hotel technology. Personalization, data protection, mobility of guests, and staff empowerment were key themes. Maestro’s roadmap for the 2025 products reflects these priorities. Maestro is also continuing to develop its product, which includes a seamless payment system that will be available in Canada by this year. It has also adjusted its internal processes of client document management and integrated Booking.com.  Feedback from customers has also resulted in the expansion of features and functions such as automated deposits requests and enhanced responses to no shows and cancellations.

Major added, “HITEC is not just a tradeshow. It’s a litmus-test for the direction of the industry.” “Our team came away energized, informed, and more aligned than ever on what operators need most—tools that are intuitive, flexible, and deeply integrated across every guest touchpoint. Maestro has a unique position to help independent operators by providing a solid foundation, backed up by our powerful chat concierge. “Our features are expanding every day.”

    The Road Ahead

Maestro is part of Fullsteam, a family of software companies and payment providers. The company remains focused on innovation and growth. Tim Major is at the helm, and Warren Dehan continues to provide strategic advice. The company is well-positioned to deliver best-in class solutions that help operators succeed in an ever-changing environment.
