The Stafford London has announced key additions to the food and beverage department as it prepares to launch its new restaurant in September. This will be in collaboration with Michelin-starred Chef Michael Caines. This new venture will bring Michael’s signature modern British cuisine – rooted in seasonality, elegant craftsmanship and technical precision – to the heart of St James’s.
Luca Gaeta is the respected Restaurant Director of The Game Bird and brings 15 years experience to The Stafford London. Luca Gaeta is a valuable asset to the restaurant’s development because of his in-depth understanding of the hotel ethos, and dedication to providing impeccable service.
Luca, along with other members of The Stafford London’s culinary staff, recently visited the prestigious team at Lympstone Manor as part of The Stafford London’s collaboration with Chef Michael Caines. The visit was a great opportunity for the team to learn more about Michael Caines’ distinctive culinary philosophy, as well as to see how the front of house team embodies his vision through passion, precision and high service standards.
During their time at Lympstone, Jordan Denning as Head Chef, Maria Mrazova as Pastry Chef, and Daniele Lanciano, Food and Beverage Manager, shared their knowledge and insights across their respective disciplines. This knowledge transfer ensures that The Stafford London can accurately interpret and deliver Michael’s vision for London.
This partnership reinforces The Stafford London’s commitment to offer an outstanding dining experience, grounded in the best of British hospitality as well as contemporary fine dining.
The opening of the new restaurant marks not only a major change in The Stafford London’s culinary story, but also confirms the hotel’s ongoing commitment to develop and support the next generation of hospitality talents. The Stafford London is committed to fostering excellence and creativity in the kitchen as well as service.
