Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort has appointed Leslie Weill as General Manager to the newly renovated 219-guestroom resort. Weil’s role will be to oversee the multi-million dollar renovation of every part of the resort.

The resort recently completed its first phase renovation in July. It features 100 newly renovated suites and guest rooms in its North Tower. The South Tower’s remaining 119 suites and guestrooms will be available in late 2025. Weil will also oversee the resort’s evolution, introducing a redesigned 3,000-square foot pool area as well as two new food concepts.

Leslie was most recently General Manager of Dua Miami Autograph Collection, where the hotel successfully transitioned from the SLS Brand portfolio to Marriott. Weil had previously led the opening of Moxy South Beach in her role as General Manager. She was responsible for all pre-opening, opening and operational operations. She has also held leadership positions at The Logan Hotel in Philadelphia, The Colonnade Hotel in Coral Gables, and Turnberry Hotel Group. Weil’s career has seen her play a key role in the opening and transition of more than 20 hotels around the world. Weil’s extensive knowledge spans a wide range of departments from limited-service hotels to luxury resorts. She is an expert in employee relations, budgeting, operational efficiency, guest experience and budgeting.
