DoubleTree Hotel Denver announced the retirement of Allen Paty, its general manager. This marks the end of Allen Paty’s influential tenure in the hotel industry. Cheryl Biggins, who has a solid background in hotel management and operations, will take on the role of general manager.
Allen Paty, longtime General manager of DoubleTree Hotel Denver by Hilton, announced his retirement. Paty’s tenure at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver was markedly shaped during his tenure. He led an $18 million renovation of guest rooms, public spaces and meeting areas. His community engagement was evident in his service on the Tourism Improvement District board and his recognition as Hotelier of the Year by the Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association in 2014.
Cheryl Biggins has been promoted from her previous position as Hotel Manager at DoubleTree Denver to that of General Manager. Biggins’ extensive knowledge of the hotel and background in operations will be a great asset to her. As General Manager, Biggins aims at continuing the hotel’s expansion while maintaining its commitment to superior experiences for guests.
