Surrounding the stage are dozens of traditional fairground games (think balloon darts and ring toss) and over 200 arcade games. No false advertising here Heart Attack Grill. The quirky diner at Fremont Street was designed to clog arteries. You’re given a hospital gown as soon as you enter, and a nurse-dressed server will lead you to your table. The comically succinct menu offers only burgers in various heights; choose from “single bypass” all the way up to “octuple bypass.” If you don’t finish your food, your server/nurse may publicly spank if you do not. As each victim is brought to the front of the room, cheers are heard from the rest of the dining area.
Go singing in the rain … in a mall.
Vegas has a thing for ceilings painted like the sky. They are available at the Grand Canal Shoppes of both The Venetian and Paris Las Vegas. Miracle Mile Shops takes it a step further. The mall offers free parking. Rain Show Water literally pours from the ceiling while thunder rumbles. You’ll see lightning, water spirits dancing, and even a footbridge you can use to get rained out. This is a good way to stay cool on those 110 degree days.
Feel your stomach fall on a rollercoaster.

You can ride the Big Apple Coaster—New York New York’s outdoor roller coaster—then definitely go at night. Although the line may be longer, it’s worth it for the spectacular views. You’ll be able to watch the Vegas skyline as it does somersaults all around you. The ride will climb 76 feet and then descend 144 feet. It’s not free ($25 for each person), but you’ll probably be able to make up the cost in the casino.
